February 7, 2023: Dell Rapids, SD 57022 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Dell Rapids Quarriers (Dell Rapids, SD) and the visiting Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans (Mt. Vernon, SD), saw Dell Rapids's basketball squad hold off Mt. Vernon/Plankinton by a tally of 62-60.
With the victory, Dell Rapids improves its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Quarriers travel to Tea (Tea, SD) to confront the Titans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 12-3. Tea won 78-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Parkston (Parkston, SD)
Next up, the Titans confront the Ethan Rustlers (Ethan, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton will attempt to improve on its 11-4 season record. The Rustlers come into the challenge with a 13-2 record after their 63-58 non-league win over James Valley Christian (Huron, SD).
