Wisconsin High School Basketball - Sauk Prairie nips Dodgeville
February 7, 2023: Dodgeville, WI 53533 Sauk Prairie Eagles (Prairie du Sac, WI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Dodgeville Dodgers (Dodgeville, WI), 58-51 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Sauk Prairie upgrades its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Oregon (Oregon, WI) to play the Panthers in a Badger - West bout on Thursday, February 9. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 13-7. Oregon lost 90-82 in their recent non-league bout against McFarland (McFarland, WI)
Next up, the Dodgers play the Prairie du Chien Blackhawks (Prairie du Chien, WI) in a Southwest Wisconsin bout, on Thursday, February 9. Dodgeville will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Blackhawks come into the bout with a 7-13 record after their 63-56 league win over Lancaster (Lancaster, WI).
