Missouri High School Basketball - Kearney tops Excelsior Springs
February 7, 2023: Excelsior Springs, MO 64024 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Kearney Bulldogs (Kearney, MO) and the host Excelsior Springs Tigers (Excelsior Springs, MO), saw Kearney's basketball squad knock off Excelsior Springs by a tally of 58-41.
With the victory, Kearney improves its record to 3-13 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Winnetonka (Kansas City, MO) to play the Griffins in a Freelance challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Griffins come into the challenge with a record of 13-3.
Next up, the Tigers play the Raytown South Cardinals (Raytown, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Excelsior Springs will attempt to improve on its 4-14 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 5-13 record after their 49-45 league loss to Smithville (Smithville, MO).
