Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Forest City topped by Mid Valley
February 7, 2023: Throop, PA 18512 The Mid Valley Spartans basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Forest City Foresters to 54 in the Spartans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Spartans now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverside for a Lackawanna 3 contest on Friday, February 10. Mid Valley will battle a Vikings team coming off a 61-35 league loss to Dunmore (Dunmore, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 10-6.
The Foresters (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Blue Ridge (New Milford, PA). The Raiders come into the Lackawanna 4 contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Blue Ridge prevailed over Elk Lake (Dimock, PA), 57-52, in a league contest.
