Ohio High School Basketball - Lake knocked off by Liberty Center
February 7, 2023: Millbury, OH 43447 The Liberty Center Tigers basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Lake Flyers to 51 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Evergreen for a Northwest Ohio contest on Friday, February 10. Liberty Center will meet a Vikings team coming off a 48-34 non-league win over Holgate (Holgate, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 10-8.
The Flyers (1-17) will now prepare for their contest against Fostoria (Fostoria, OH). The Redmen enter the Northern Buckeye contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Fostoria was defeated by Hopewell-Loudon (Bascom, OH), 74-50, in a non-league contest.
