Illinois High School Basketball - Lane Tech holds off Schaumburg
February 7, 2023: Chicago, IL 60618 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lane Tech Lane Tech (Chicago, IL) and the visiting Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL), saw Lane Tech's basketball squad hold off Schaumburg by a tally of 45-38.
With the victory, Lane Tech improves its record to 10-13 on the campaign. The Lane Tech travel to Northside (Chicago, IL) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 18-10. Northside lost 70-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Chicago University (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Saxons confront the Conant Cougars (Hoffman Estates, IL) in a Mid-Suburban - West challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Schaumburg will attempt to improve on its 10-16 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 13-12 record after their 52-37 non-league loss to Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL).
