Wisconsin High School Basketball - Sun Prairie East knocked off by Stoughton
February 7, 2023: Stoughton, WI 53589 The Stoughton Vikings basketball team scored 80 points and held the visiting Sun Prairie East Cardinals to 72 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vikings now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waunakee for a Badger - East contest on Thursday, February 9. Stoughton will battle a Warriors team coming off a 67-55 league win over Watertown (Watertown, WI). The Warriors record now stands at 14-3.
The Cardinals (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Verona (Verona, WI). The Wildcats enter the Big Eight contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Verona was defeated by Madison Memorial (Madison, WI), 68-60, in a league contest.
