Missouri High School Basketball - Newburg tops Belle
February 7, 2023: Newburg, MO 65550 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Newburg Wolves (Newburg, MO) and the visiting Belle Tigers (Belle, MO), saw Newburg's basketball squad knock off Belle by a tally of 43-31.
With the victory, Newburg improves its record to 15-8 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Stoutland (Stoutland, MO) to play the Tigers in a Frisco challenge on Monday, February 13. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 10-10. Stoutland lost 60-40 in their recent league challenge against Licking (Licking, MO)
Next up, the Tigers play the Calvary Lutheran Lions (Jefferson City, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 13. Belle will attempt to improve on its 8-16 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 51-49 non-league win over Christian Fellowship (Columbia, MO).
