In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Wichita County Indians basketball team scored a good 49-41 triumph over the Dighton Hornets.

In their next game, the Indians meet the Sublette Larks (Sublette, KS) in a Hi-Plains match, on Friday, February 10. Wichita County will attempt to better on its 13-3 season record. The Larks enter the match with a 2-13 record after their 40-23 non-league loss to Southwestern Heights (Kismet, KS).
