Georgia High School Soccer - New Hampstead nudges Jenkins
February 7, 2023: Savannah, GA 31419 New Hampstead Phoenix (Savannah, GA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Jenkins Warriors (Savannah, GA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Phoenix face the Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA) in a 4A Region 3 challenge, on Thursday, February 23. New Hampstead will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record.
The Warriors now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brantley County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 9. Jenkins will face a Herons team coming off a 1-1 non-league Brunswick (Brunswick, GA). The Herons record now stands at 1-0.
