February 7, 2023: Marietta, GA 30062 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Walton Raiders (Marietta, GA) and the host Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA), saw Walton's soccer squad get by Pope by a count of 2-1.
The Raiders now hold a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lassiter for a non-league test on Saturday, February 11. Walton will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Woodstock (Woodstock, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Pope drops to 2-1 on the season. The Greyhounds host West Forsyth (Cumming, GA) to meet the Wolverines in a non-league test on Friday, February 10. The Wolverines come into the test with a record of 1-3. West Forsyth lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against St. Pius X Catholic (Atlanta, GA)
