Virginia High School Basketball - Maggie Walker knocked off by Godwin
February 7, 2023: Richmond, VA 23220 The Godwin Eagles basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Maggie Walker to 25 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glen Allen for a non-league contest on Friday, February 10. Godwin will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 44-32 non-league win over Thomas Jefferson (Richmond, VA). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-7.
The (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against West Point (West Point, VA). The Pointers enter the non-league contest with a 0-11 record. In their last contest, West Point was defeated by Middlesex (Saluda, VA), 60-17, in a non-league contest.
