New York High School Basketball - Mekeel Christian Academy can't hold off Albany Academy for Boys
February 7, 2024: Schenectady, NY 12302 The Albany Academy for Boys Cadets basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the host Mekeel Christian Academy Lions to 63 in the Cadets non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Cadets now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cardinal Hayes for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 10. Albany Academy for Boys will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 80-68 non-league win over Xaverian (Brooklyn, NY). The Cardinals record now stands at 11-10.
The Lions (12-2) will now prepare for their contest against Utica Academy of Science (Utica, NY). The Atoms come into the non-league contest with a 4-14 record. In their last contest, Utica Academy of Science edged Graphics (New York, NY), 79-69, in a non-league contest.
