Illinois High School Basketball - Bunker Hill fells Valmeyer
February 7, 2024: Bunker Hill, IL 62014 Bunker Hill Minutemen (Bunker Hill, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Valmeyer Pirates (Valmeyer, IL), 63-53 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Bunker Hill upgrades its record to 10-17 on the season. The Minutemen travel to Nokomis (Nokomis, IL) to play the Redskins in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 8. The Redskins go into the bout with a record of 13-15. Nokomis won 60-41 in their recent league bout against Pawnee (Pawnee, IL)
Next up, the Pirates play the SIUE East St. Louis Charter (East St. Louis, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Valmeyer will attempt to upgrade on its 9-18 season record. The go into the bout with a 18-9 record after their 64-45 non-league win over McKinley Classical Leadership Academy (St. Louis, MO).
