GEO Next Generation Tigers (Baton Rouge, LA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Thrive Academy Bulldogs (Baton Rouge, LA), 49-39 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, GEO Next Generation upgrades its record to 19-11 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy (Lafayette, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 13-16. Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy lost 70-56 in their recent non-league bout against Barbe (Lake Charles, LA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the West St. John Rams (Edgard, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Thrive Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 4-21 record after their 52-50 league loss to Varnado (Angie, LA).
