The Tandem Friends (Charlottesville, VA) varsity basketball team lost Wednesday's home non-conference game against St. Michael the Archangel (Fredericksburg, VA) by a score of 82-42.
The St. Michael the Archangel Warriors basketball team scored 82 points and held the host Tandem Friends Badgers to 42 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Warriors now sport a 16-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Atlantic Shores Christian for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 10. St. Michael the Archangel will battle a Seahawks team coming off a 75-50 non-league loss to Norfolk Collegiate (Norfolk, VA). The Seahawks record now stands at 14-13.
The Badgers (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Fredericksburg Academy (Fredericksburg, VA). The Falcons enter the VISAA Division IV contest with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, Fredericksburg Academy was routed by Wakefield School (The Plains, VA), 55-16, in a league contest.
