February 7, 2024: East Haven, CT 06513 The East Haven Yellowjackets (East Haven, CT) basketball nipped the visiting North Branford Thunderbirds (North Branford, CT), 60-54 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Yellowjackets (8-9) will now prepare for their test against Cheshire (Cheshire, CT). The Rams go into the Southern Connecticut - Housatonic test with a 7-11 record. In their last test, Cheshire got by Law (Milford, CT), 44-42, in a non-league test.
The Thunderbirds now own a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to Morgan for a Shoreline test on Friday, February 9. North Branford will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 56-39 league loss to East Hampton (East Hampton, CT). The Huskies record now stands at 13-5.
