New York High School Basketball - Beacon triumphant over Haldane
February 7, 2025: Cold Spring, NY 10516 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Beacon Bulldogs (Beacon, NY) and the host Haldane Blue Devils (Cold Spring, NY), observed Beacon's basketball team overwhelm Haldane by a score of 75-49.
The Bulldogs (12-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Liberty (Liberty, NY). The Indians come into the Section 9 Orange County III challenge with a 6-9 record. In their last challenge, Liberty trounced Monticello (Monticello, NY), 57-48, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Blue Devils encounter the Pawling Tigers (Pawling, NY) in a Section 1 Conference 3D challenge, on Monday, February 10. Haldane will attempt to improve on its 11-6 season record.
