Louisiana High School Basketball - Covenant Christian Academy fells Central Private
February 7, 2025: Houma, LA 70364 The Covenant Christian Academy Lions basketball team scored 47 points and limited the visiting Central Private Redhawks to 34 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now have a 12-14 record. They play next when they host South Plaquemines for a non-league game on Saturday, February 8. Covenant Christian Academy will confront a Hurricanes team coming off a 77-71 non-league loss to Jefferson RISE Charter (Harvey, LA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 4-13.
With the loss, Central Private falls to 16-10 on the campaign. The Redhawks travel to Port Barre (Port Barre, LA) to confront the Red Devils in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. The Red Devils go into the game with a record of 9-17. Port Barre lost 74-61 in their recent league game against Oakdale (Oakdale, LA)
