The Coastal Brigade basketball squad (Newport, NC), was crushed 70-29 in Friday's non-league battle with the host New Bern Christian Academy (New Bern, NC)

With the victory, New Bern Christian Academy advances its record to 24-5 on the year. The host Faith Christian Academy (Goldsboro, NC) to meet the Conquerors in a Mid-Atlantic Christian - 2A South battle on Monday, February 10. The Conquerors enter the battle with a record of 14-3. Faith Christian Academy won 70-43 in their recent league battle against Trinity Christian (Greenville, NC)

The now own a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Living Water Christian for a non-league battle on Monday, February 10. Coastal Brigade will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 60-47 league win over Greenville Christian Academy (Greenville, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 14-9.
