Louisiana High School Basketball - Dutchtown crushes Mentorship Academy
February 7, 2025: Baton Rouge, LA 70801 The Dutchtown Griffins (Geismar, LA) basketball crushed the host Mentorship Academy Sharks (Baton Rouge, LA), 60-19 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Griffins now possess a 15-22 record. They play next when they travel to Denham Springs for a 5A District 5 bout on Tuesday, February 11. Dutchtown will play a Yellowjackets team coming off a 58-52 league win over Live Oak (Watson, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 23-3.
With the loss, Mentorship Academy falls to 2-15 on the campaign. The Sharks host Slaughter Community Charter (Slaughter, LA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 8. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 10-12. Slaughter Community Charter lost 86-47 in their recent league bout against Episcopal (Baton Rouge, LA)
