The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Liberty Hawks (Madera, CA) and the visiting Fowler Redcats (Fowler, CA), observed Liberty's basketball team overwhelm Fowler by a score of 79-54.

The Hawks (14-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Sierra (Tollhouse, CA). The Chieftains come into the Northwest Sequoia challenge with a 19-7 record. In their last challenge, Sierra trounced Caruthers (Caruthers, CA), 72-34, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Redcats battle the Chowchilla Tribe (Chowchilla, CA) in a Northwest Sequoia challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Fowler will attempt to improve on its 13-12 season record. The Tribe come into the challenge with a 15-12 record after their 66-32 league win over Yosemite (Oakhurst, CA).
