Missouri High School Basketball - Kennett nips Woodland
February 7, 2025: Kennett, MO 63857 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Kennett Indians basketball team scored a close 72-68 win over the Woodland Cardinals.
The Indians (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Senath-Hornersville (Senath, MO). The Lions come into the Bootheel contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Senath-Hornersville was tipped by South Pemiscot (Steele, MO), 72-55, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Confluence Prep Academy Titans (St. Louis, MO) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 8. Woodland will attempt to better on its 18-5 season record. The Titans come into the contest with a 6-10 record after their 74-48 non-league win over SIUE East St. Louis Charter (East St. Louis, IL).
