The Mingus Marauders bounced the visiting Metro Tech Knights basketball squad by a final score of 72-33 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Marauders clash with the Lee Williams Volunteers (Kingman, AZ) in a 4A Grand Canyon outing, on Monday, February 10. Mingus will attempt to upgrade on its 9-15 season record. The Volunteers enter the outing with a 8-14 record after their 43-31 non-league win over Agua Fria (Avondale, AZ).

The Knights (1-25) will now prepare for their outing against McClintock (Tempe, AZ). The Chargers enter the 5A Metro outing with a 10-13 record. In their last outing, McClintock was overwhelmed by Central (Phoenix, AZ), 85-46, in a league outing.
