The Northwood Falcons (Shreveport, LA) basketball edged the visiting Southwood Cowboys (Shreveport, LA), 45-42 in Friday's league bout.

The Falcons now possess a 12-20 record. They play next when they travel to Minden for a 4A District 1 bout on Tuesday, February 11. Northwood will play a Crimson Tide team coming off a 66-52 league loss to Bossier (Bossier City, LA). The Crimson Tide record now stands at 17-6.
