Louisiana High School Basketball - Peabody triumphant over West Ouachita
February 7, 2025: Alexandria, LA 71302 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Peabody Warhorses (Alexandria, LA) and the visiting West Ouachita Chiefs (West Monroe, LA), observed Peabody's basketball team overwhelm West Ouachita by a score of 75-40.
The Warhorses (22-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Grant (Dry Prong, LA). The Cougars come into the 4A District 2 challenge with a 7-23 record. In their last challenge, Grant was routed by Tioga (Tioga, LA), 65-39, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Chiefs encounter the Ouachita Christian Eagles (Monroe, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 13. West Ouachita will attempt to improve on its 18-14 season record.
