The Bellevue East Chieftains basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Pius X Thunderbolts to 48 in the Chieftains non-league triumph on Friday.

The Chieftains now possess a 16-3 record. They play next when they host Papillion-LaVista South for a non-league game on Saturday, February 8. Bellevue East will confront a Titans team coming off a 55-46 non-league loss to Norfolk (Norfolk, NE). The Titans record now stands at 5-11.

With the loss, Pius X falls to 17-4 on the campaign. The Thunderbolts travel to Gretna (Gretna, NE) to confront the Dragons in a non-league game on Thursday, February 13. The Dragons go into the game with a record of 8-12. Gretna lost 75-24 in their recent non-league game against Bennington (Bennington, NE)
