February 7, 2025: Okeene, OK 73763 The Okeene Whippets basketball team scored 37 points and limited the visiting Burlington Elks to 15 in the Whippets non-league triumph on Friday.
The Whippets now possess a 7-14 record. They play next when they host Drummond for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. Okeene will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 57-42 non-league win over Ringwood (Ringwood, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-8.
With the loss, Burlington falls to 3-17 on the campaign. The Elks travel to Waynoka (Waynoka, OK) to confront the Railroaders in a non-league game on Saturday, February 8.
