With the victory, Covenant Christian Academy upgrades its record to 10-10 on the year. The Lions host South Plaquemines (Buras, LA) to face the Hurricanes in a non-league match on Saturday, February 8. The Hurricanes enter the match with a record of 8-10. South Plaquemines won 39-30 in their recent non-league match against Sarah T. Reed (New Orleans, LA)
The Redhawks now sport a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Slaughter Community Charter for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. Central Private will face a Knights squad coming off a 46-41 non-league loss to Baker (Baker, LA). The Knights record now stands at 8-11.
