In Friday's league contest, the visiting Little River Redskins basketball team scored a big 69-8 triumph over the Centre Cougars.

The Redskins (15-0) will now prepare for their contest against Canton-Galva (Canton, KS). The Eagles go into the Wheat State contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Canton-Galva was trounced by Linn (Linn, KS), 40-27, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Wakefield Bombers (Wakefield, KS) in a Wheat State contest, on Monday, February 10. Centre will attempt to better on its 1-13 season record. The Bombers go into the contest with a 5-9 record after their 34-19 league loss to Goessel (Goessel, KS).
