February 7, 2025: Hockessin, DE 19707 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Sanford Warriors (Hockessin, DE) and the visiting Howard Wildcats (Wilmington, DE), observed Sanford's basketball team overwhelm Howard by a score of 66-29.
The Warriors (12-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilmington Friends (Wilmington, DE). The Quakers come into the Independent Schools challenge with a 11-5 record. In their last challenge, Wilmington Friends trounced Tower Hill (Wilmington, DE), 52-45, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Concord Raiders (Wilmington, DE) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 10. Howard will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 12-7 record after their 36-30 league loss to Delcastle Technical (Wilmington, DE).
