February 7, 2025: Konawa, OK 74849 In Friday's league battle, the host Konawa Tigers basketball squad scored a tight 35-30 victory over the Wayne Bulldogs.
With the victory, Konawa advances its record to 6-12 on the year. The Tigers travel to Stonewall (Stonewall, OK) to meet the Longhorns in a non-league battle on Monday, February 10. The Longhorns enter the battle with a record of 13-8. Stonewall lost 76-38 in their recent league battle against Allen (Allen, OK)
The Bulldogs now own a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maysville for a Big 8 battle on Tuesday, February 11. Wayne will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 59-23 non-league win over Mill Creek (Mill Creek, OK). The Warriors record now stands at 16-4.
