February 7, 2025: Williamsport, MD 21795 Williamsport Wildcats (Williamsport, MD) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Catoctin Cougars (Thurmont, MD), 29-28 in a non-league battle.
With the victory, Williamsport advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Wildcats host Walkersville (Walkersville, MD) to meet the Lions in a non-league battle on Thursday, February 13. The Lions enter the battle with a record of 12-2. Walkersville won 47-38 in their recent league battle against Boonsboro (Boonsboro, MD)
The Cougars now own a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Middletown for a non-league battle on Friday, February 14.
