North Carolina High School Basketball - South Mecklenburg holds off Ardrey Kell

The South Mecklenburg Sabres basketball team scored 36 points and limited the host Ardrey Kell Knights to 30 in the Sabres league triumph on Friday.

The Sabres now have a 13-9 record. They play next when they travel to Ballantyne Ridge for a game on Tuesday, February 11. South Mecklenburg will confront a Wolves team coming off a 40-37 non-league loss to Palisades (Charlotte, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 1-15.

With the loss, Ardrey Kell falls to 14-4 on the campaign. The Knights host Olympic (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Trojans in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11.
