February 7, 2025: North Kingstown, RI 02852 North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Narragansett Mariners (Narragansett, RI), 43-37 in a non-league match.
With the victory, North Kingstown advances its record to 13-8 on the year. The Skippers host Cranston East (Cranston, RI) to meet the Thunderbolts in a non-league match on Monday, February 10. The Thunderbolts enter the match with a record of 7-13. Cranston East won 60-54 in their recent non-league match against Cranston West (Cranston, RI)
The Mariners now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Moses Brown for a non-league match on Monday, February 10. Narragansett will meet a Quakers squad coming off a 41-40 non-league loss to Times Squared Academy (Providence, RI). The Quakers record now stands at 2-9.
