February 7, 2025: Greensboro, NC 27409 Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Southeast Guilford Falcons (Greensboro, NC), 50-39 in a league match.
With the victory, Northwest Guilford upgrades its record to 10-7 on the year. The Vikings host Asheboro (Asheboro, NC) to face the Blue Comets in a non-league match on Monday, February 10. The Blue Comets enter the match with a record of 14-5. Asheboro won 59-56 in their recent non-league match against Ledford (Thomasville, NC)
The Falcons now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western Guilford for a match on Tuesday, February 11. Southeast Guilford will face a Hornets squad coming off a 50-30 non-league loss to Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Hornets record now stands at 3-16.
