The Joliet Central Steelmen nudged the host Stagg Chargers basketball team by a margin of 48-46 in Saturday's non-league game.

The Steelmen now have a 19-11 record. They play next when they travel to Plainfield South for a SouthWest Prairie - East game on Tuesday, February 10. Joliet Central will confront a Cougars team coming off a 60-26 league win over Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 12-15.
