Minnesota High School Basketball - Aitkin knocked off by Barnum
February 8, 2022: Barnum, MN 55707 The Barnum Bombers basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Aitkin Gobblers to 65 in the Bombers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bombers now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cromwell for a non-league contest on Friday, February 11. Barnum will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 66-57 non-league loss to South Ridge (Culver, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-7.
The Gobblers (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Staples-Motley (Staples, MN). The Cardinals enter the AA Section 7 contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Staples-Motley was outscored by Detroit Lakes (Detroit Lakes, MN), 79-41, in a non-league contest.
