The Bears now possess a 3-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elton for a 1A District 4 battle on Friday, February 11. Gueydan will battle a Indians team coming off a 47-29 league win over Grand Lake (Lake Charles, LA). The Indians record now stands at 12-6.
The Bearcats (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Oberlin (Oberlin, LA). The Tigers come into the 1A District 4 battle with a 4-10 record. In their last battle, Oberlin trounced Merryville (Merryville, LA), 82-77, in a league battle.
