South Dakota High School Basketball - Waubay/Summit tops Estelline/Hendricks
February 8, 2022: Estelline, SD Waubay/Summit Mustangs (Waubay, SD) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Estelline/Hendricks (Estelline, SD), 67-57 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Waubay/Summit upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Waverly/South Shore (Waverly, SD) to play the Coyotes in a B Region 3 bout on Thursday, February 10. The Coyotes come into the bout with a record of 3-10. Waverly/South Shore won 59-17 in their recent league bout against Lake Preston (Lake Preston, SD)
Next up, the play the Iroquois/Doland (Iroquois, SD) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 14. Estelline/Hendricks will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The come into the bout with a 1-16 record after their 61-42 non-league loss to Hitchcock-Tulare (Hitchcock, SD).
