New Jersey High School Basketball - Lincoln crushes Newark Vocational
February 8, 2022: Jersey City, NJ 07029 Lincoln Lions (Jersey City, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Newark Vocational Eagles (Newark, NJ), 60-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lincoln upgrades its record to 3-11 on the season. The Lions travel to Bayonne (Bayonne, NJ) to clash with the Bees in a Hudson County - American bout on Thursday, February 10. The Bees go into the bout with a record of 3-13. Bayonne lost 75-38 in their recent league bout against St. Peter's Prep (Jersey City, NJ)
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Verona Hillbillies (Verona, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 12. Newark Vocational will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Hillbillies go into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 55-42 non-league loss to Belleville (Belleville, NJ).
