February 8, 2022: Salem, SD 57058 The McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars basketball team (Salem, SD), dropped 56-44 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Madison Bulldogs (Madison, SD)
The Bulldogs now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Central for a A Region 3 battle on Friday, February 11. Madison will battle a Trojans team coming off a 81-58 non-league win over Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD). The Trojans record now stands at 11-4.
The Fighting Cougars (7-9) will now prepare for their battle against Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD). The Warbirds come into the non-league battle with a 12-4 record. In their last battle, Wolsey-Wessington dropped by DeSmet (DeSmet, SD), 56-32, in a league battle.
