Illinois High School Basketball - Pana tops Vandalia
February 8, 2022: Pana, IL 62557 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Pana Panthers (Pana, IL) and the visiting Vandalia Vandals (Vandalia, IL), saw Pana's basketball squad knock off Vandalia by a count of 66-51.
With the victory, Pana upgrades its record to 24-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Carlinville (Carlinville, IL) to play the Cavaliers in a South Central challenge on Friday, February 11. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 11-14. Carlinville won 44-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Edinburg (Edinburg, IL)
Next up, the Vandals play the Gillespie Miners (Gillespie, IL) in a South Central challenge, on Friday, February 11. Vandalia will attempt to upgrade on its 10-18 season record. The Miners come into the challenge with a 5-14 record after their 59-48 non-league win over Bunker Hill (Bunker Hill, IL).
