February 8, 2022: Spring Valley, MN 55975 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Chatfield Gophers (Chatfield, MN) and the host Kingsland Knights (Spring Valley, MN), saw Chatfield's basketball squad overcome Kingsland by a tally of 63-53.
With the victory, Chatfield improves its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Gophers travel to Dover-Eyota (Eyota, MN) to play the Eagles in a AA Section 1 challenge on Thursday, February 10. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 18-3. Dover-Eyota won 79-42 in their recent league challenge against Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN)
Next up, the Knights play the Mabel-Canton Cougars (Mabel, MN) in a A Section 1 challenge, on Friday, February 11. Kingsland will attempt to improve on its 15-8 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 7-16 record after their 51-39 non-league loss to Grand Meadow (Grand Meadow, MN).
