Missouri High School Basketball - West Platte nips East Buchanan
February 8, 2022: Weston, MO 64098 West Platte Bluejays (Weston, MO) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting East Buchanan Bulldogs (Gower, MO), 31-29 in a league bout.
With the victory, West Platte upgrades its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Bluejays travel to Plattsburg (Plattsburg, MO) to play the Tigers in a KCI bout on Friday, February 11. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 9-8. Plattsburg lost 43-34 in their recent league bout against Mid-Buchanan (Faucett, MO)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Gallatin Bulldogs (Gallatin, MO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 14. East Buchanan will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 3-17 record after their 46-30 non-league win over Albany (Albany, MO).
