The Pecos Panthers topped the visiting Tucumcari Rattlers basketball team by a final score of 54-40 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Clayton Yellowjackets (Clayton, NM) in a 2A District 6 game, on Thursday, February 10. Pecos will attempt to move on its 8-11 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the game with a 14-5 record after their 48-41 league win over Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM).
