Georgia High School Soccer - South Cobb knocks off New Manchester
February 8, 2022: Douglasville, GA 30135 South Cobb Eagles (Austell, GA) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host New Manchester Jaguars (Douglasville, GA), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles confront the Wheeler Wildcats (Marietta, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 6 challenge, on Tuesday, February 15. South Cobb will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA).
The Jaguars now possess a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rockmart for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 10. New Manchester will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Trion (Trion, GA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-1.
