West Virginia High School Basketball - Bridgeport tops Woodrow Wilson
February 8, 2023: Bridgeport, WV 26330 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Bridgeport Indians (Bridgeport, WV) and the visiting Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles (Beckley, WV), saw Bridgeport's basketball squad knock off Woodrow Wilson by a count of 52-43.
With the victory, Bridgeport upgrades its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV) to play the Buccaneers in a Big Ten challenge on Saturday, February 11. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a record of 6-12. Buckhannon-Upshur lost 61-57 in their recent league challenge against Elkins (Elkins, WV)
Next up, the Flying Eagles play the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, WV) in a Mountain State challenge, on Friday, February 10. Woodrow Wilson will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 12-3 record after their 59-49 non-league win over PikeView (Princeton, WV).
