February 8, 2023: Chicago, IL 60624 The Lincoln Park Lions (Chicago, IL) basketball knocked off the host Von Steuben Panthers (Chicago, IL), 47-30 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Lions (5-15) will now prepare for their test against Maine East (Park Ridge, IL). The Blue Demons go into the non-league test with a 3-27 record. In their last test, Maine East went down by Niles West (Skokie, IL), 46-34, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 12-6 record. They play next when they travel to York for a non-league test on Monday, February 13. Von Steuben will encounter a Dukes squad coming off a 57-25 non-league win over Hinsdale South (Darien, IL). The Dukes record now stands at 23-6.
