California High School Basketball - Poway tipped by Mount Miguel

The Mount Miguel Matadors basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Poway Titans to 45 in the Matadors non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Matadors now sport a 20-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mater Dei Catholic for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 9. Mount Miguel will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 63-61 league win over Olympian (Chula Vista, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 18-8.

The Titans (23-3) will now prepare for their contest against San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA). The Mustangs enter the Avocado contest with a 7-15 record. In their last contest, San Dieguito Academy was nudged by San Marcos (San Marcos, CA), 45-33, in a league contest.
